Adventure Entertainment (AE) today announced that it will be acquiring Great Walks Magazine from Yaffa Media, further strengthening its focus on outdoor and adventure media in Australia.
Great Walks is one of Australia’s most respected hiking publications, with a long-standing reputation for inspiring and informing bushwalkers, trekkers, and outdoor enthusiasts across the country.
Under the agreement, AE will assume ownership and operation of the Great Walks brand and print publication and are working on a transition from the next issue of the magazine.
The acquisition expands AE’s presence in the hiking category, complementing its existing portfolio of titles including Wild, Trail Run, Vertical Life, Australian Mountain Bike, Chillfactor, and other titles. The addition of Great Walks strengthens AE’s ability to serve the broader outdoor community and unlock new commercial opportunities across hiking, travel, and adventure tourism.
