The RunNation Film Festival® (RunNation) will commence its World Tour starting in Australia and New Zealand this August.

HOKA and RunNation invite all humans to lace up and fly together. We are excited for new adventures filled with the joy and optimism that movement gives each and every one of us. #FlyHumanFly

RunNation is an original documentary film festival that was founded by a group of local runners in Sydney eight years ago.  Since its creation, RunNation has grown from a local festival to a world tour that has screened around the globe including in the United States of America, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Portugal and other countries.

This year the tour will visit more than 40 locations across Australia and New Zealand with screenings at leading cinema locations such as HOYTS, Event Cinemas, Village Cinemas, Dendy Cinemas and a host of independent venues.  RunNation will then tour globally and be made available online via the streaming platform ADVENTURE+ later in the year.

RunNation receives film submissions from around the world which are curated into an evening of short films that celebrate the human spirit using running as a medium of storytelling.

This year’s RunNation film set showcases six short films with a focus on FKT’s (Fastest Known Times), mental health and conservation. Finding Salvation is the story of ultra runner, conservationist and father, Kieron Douglass. Kieron’s life is a testament to the human spirit, everything we can achieve and our ability to overcome adversity, Chris Fisher – To Top is a testament to the human spirit and pushing the body to achieve 400k vertical feet in one month.
The tour will also feature the world premiere of Australian film, The Long Pathway. The film highlights Australian trail runner Lucy Clarks dream of setting the speed record for the 3000km Te Araroa track in New Zealand.
