Adventure Entertainment has agreed terms with Snow Action for the long standing print and digital media publication to join the Adventure Entertainment group.
Snow Action was founded in 1997 by Owain Price and has become a leading voice in the Southern Hemisphere snow industry with a specialisation in travel to Japan, USA, Canada, New Zealand, South America and European destinations. As well as being renowned for it’s print “travel bible”, Snow Action was a forerunner in web-based media and has built a successful digital business with multiple stories a week being shared with the snow community year around for the last 20 years. Snow Action’s coverage of snowboarding as well as skiing expands Adventure Entertainment’s existing snow offering.
Adventure Entertainment operates a variety of snow media channels in Australia and New Zealand including specialist ski publication and podcast, Chillfactor and Wild Magazine as well as distributing the Warren Miller and Teton Gravity Research snow films. Snow Action will continue to operate alongside these existing brands with Owain Price remaining as managing editor and joining the Adventure Entertainment team.
